Ich hatte ein kleines aber aufregendes Problem mit meinem Samsung Handy (S7550): beim Schreiben von SMS Nachrichten konnte ich einige Buchstaben mit Trema oder Zirkumflex nicht schreiben (ë, ê, ï, î, usw.).
Es gibt aber eine Lösung: es sieht so aus, dass die Samsung Handys eine „GSM Alphabet“ benutzen, die nicht alle „spezielle“ Buchstaben enthält. Die Lösung dafür liegt unten:
Menu -> Nachrichten -> Einstellungen -> SMS -> Senden Optionen -> Alphabet
„GSM Alphabet“ durch „UNICODE“ oder „Automatisch“ ersetzen, und voilà!
Das Problem mit UNICODE ist, es wird die SMS Länge auf 70 Buchstaben reduzieren (normal ist 160 Buchstaben). Mit die „Automatisch“ Einstellung wird das Handy selber bemerken, ob sie „nicht GSM Alphabet“ benutzen, und die SMS eine Unicode SMS machen (nur 70 Buchstaben lang). Wenn Sie keine „nicht GSM Alphabet“ Buchstabe brauchen, bleibt das SMS ein „normal“ SMS (160 characters).

I couldn’t figure out why I could see special characters and emojis, but would always get an error message when sending them. I had it on GSM and switching to Automatic fixed the problem. Thanks!

i have a samsung b350e and I can’t find the ñ using number 6 in the keypad. it shows that character when someone messaged me but I cannot type that character. do you know the solution?

J’ai le même problème sur mon téléphone, un Samsung Solid B2710, et ça s’est résolu, la première fois, quand je l’ai mis en „automatique“, mais au bout d’une heure à peine (quand j’ai activé Facebook, en fait), les accents ne s’affichaient à nouveau plus. Dans l’alphabet GSM, j’en ai quelques uns, mais très peu (les é, è, à…) et dans les autres (unicode et automatique), plus rien. Avez-vous une idée de ce qu’il se passe ?
